Marion County Fairgrounds & Events Center is a prominent brand that offers a diverse range of services and products. Established in 1930, this not-for-profit corporation aims to provide an enjoyable and safe year-round facility that caters to the needs of the Marion County Community. With a strong emphasis on youth education, entertainment, agriculture, and recreation, Marion County Fairgrounds & Events Center aims to foster partnerships and build a stronger community.
This 123-acre fairground features 17 permanent buildings and offers a rich history, with variations of the “Marion County Fair” dating back to 1835. The fairgrounds prioritize the promotion of agriculture in a modern urban environment. Additionally, Marion County Fairgrounds & Events Center is currently engaged in a capital improvement campaign.
Community members can contribute to this campaign through the brick campaign, which allows donors to have their bricks placed in various locations such as the cattle barn garden or the Veterans Memorial Garden. Funds raised will be utilized to renovate the historic cattle barn, create beautiful gardens, and improve infrastructure throughout the facility. As a not-for-profit organization, Marion County Fairgrounds & Events Center welcomes all types of donations including financial support, labor, and tangible items.
