About Marion County Humane Society
Marion County Humane Society is an animal shelter located in Knoxville, serving the entire Marion County area in Iowa. Since its founding in 1986, their mission has been to provide shelter to stray, lost, or abandoned dogs and cats until they are either reunited with their owners or adopted into new homes. To support their vital work, Marion County Humane Society relies on financial contributions.
Your generous donations help provide essential services such as medicine, veterinary care, vaccines, and food for the animals in their care. In addition to providing shelter and care, Marion County Humane Society places great emphasis on educating the public about responsible pet ownership. They strongly advocate for spaying and neutering pets to address the issue of pet overpopulation.
If you're interested in adopting a new furry friend, Marion County Humane Society offers a variety of adoptable dogs and cats. They also welcome volunteers and are open for adoption appointments on select days of the week. Support Marion County Humane Society's mission to give animals a second chance at life and find them loving homes by donating or getting involved today
