Afscheidsfotografie en meer is the photography practice of Marion Verhaaf-Geurts, based in Brummen in the Netherlands. With a personal, compassionate approach, Marion specializes in documenting farewells and preserving meaningful memories for families. Her work includes photography around the loss of a loved one and sensitive last photographs of babies who have died during or shortly after pregnancy. She aims to record these intimate moments unobtrusively, capturing details and scenes that family members may not notice at the time.

Marion trained as a qualified farewell photographer, graduating with distinction in 2020. She also offers newborn and baby sessions, pregnancy photography, family shoots, and mini sessions. In addition, she provides free portrait photography for people aged 70 and over, a service previously known as Project Zenna. Her portfolio and knowledge resources cover farewell photography, children’s funerals, newborn sessions, and pregnancy loss. Marion invites families to discuss their needs in a personal conversation and describes her role as walking alongside them during a difficult time, allowing photographs to help express what words cannot.
