Mariposa – mit Liebe vegan is a vegan food brand founded by Maria and rooted in her passion for plant-based cooking. Based in central Nuremberg, Germany, Mariposa was known for a restaurant where dishes were prepared with care and creativity. Maria says she has cooked vegan for more than 20 years, initially serving vegetarian food at the restaurant before making the transition to a fully vegan menu.
The name Mariposa reflects the qualities she aims to bring to her cooking: lightness and naturalness. The restaurant’s specially selected dishes were intended to convey these qualities while showcasing a personal, heartfelt approach to vegan cuisine. Mariposa also presents Maria’s cookbook, offering a way for visitors to explore her cooking beyond the restaurant.
The website lists the restaurant as permanently closed, so it is no longer presented as an operating dining venue. It also provides contact information and links to the brand’s Facebook page, newsletter, and legal and privacy details
