Mariposa Menopause Specialists is a Huntsville, Alabama, clinic dedicated to care for women navigating perimenopause and menopause. Founded by Dr. Julie Grimes, an OB-GYN and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, the clinic brings together specialized care for the physical and emotional changes associated with this transition. Its approach combines education, attentive listening, and individualized plans informed by research.
Services address a range of concerns, including sleep disruption, mood changes, brain fog, weight and metabolism, and other menopause-related symptoms. Care options include modern hormone therapy, non-hormonal alternatives, GLP-1 medications, nutrition support, and help with sleep and mental health. The clinic also offers comprehensive lab work and a one-hour consultation with a certified menopause specialist.
Mariposa aims to provide coordinated support rather than treating each concern in isolation. Patients can explore educational resources, including a symptom checklist and menopause guide, and join The Grove community. The clinic’s stated goal is to help women better understand their symptoms and find a treatment approach suited to their needs.
