Maritim Modellklubb is a Norwegian association for people interested in building models of historic and modern vessels. With around one hundred members across the country, the club offers a welcoming, educational community for both beginners and experienced model boat builders. It usually holds monthly meetings from September to May at the Norwegian Maritime Museum in Oslo, where members can bring finished models or works in progress, share ideas, and ask questions.

The club supports members through practical learning and information, including a beginner’s course and a substantial model-building handbook available to members for a modest fee. Its website also features articles, useful links, photographs of models and club activities, and guidance to help newcomers get started with a manageable model kit. Members can connect through the club’s Facebook group to exchange advice, questions, images, and videos. The association sometimes passes repair work on to members and arranges club outings. Through meetings, training, exhibitions, resources, and shared activities, Maritim Modellklubb brings together enthusiasts who want to develop their skills and enjoy maritime model building.
