The Maritime Capacity Alliance is a long-term strategic civil-military partnership between civil Maritime partners and the Dutch Ministry of Defence. They are a civil-military collective that aims to achieve an agile, reciprocal, and sustainable chain partnership in the maritime and logistics domain. The alliance is based on the reciprocal deployment of personnel, equipment, and knowledge & innovation, strengthening the individual interests and contributions of partners.
The Maritime Capacity Alliance offers a range of products and services to its partners. They provide jointly and worldwide flexible access to resources such as a fleet with guaranteed and varied (sea) transport capacity, survey, diving, hydrographic, and training vessels. Additionally, they focus on sharing knowledge and best practices, educating, training, and learning from each other's distinctive qualities.
They also contribute to the sustainable development of a hybrid workforce for the maritime sector by recruiting and retaining personnel with the right competence and experience. Through long-term cooperation and collaboration, the Maritime Capacity Alliance helps strengthen maritime transport and training capacity, while also enhancing civil-military cooperation and building trust. They aim to be an agile and future-proof alliance, contributing to national security and social resilience
