About Markthuis Friesland
Markthuis Friesland is a permanent indoor market located on Lange Nering in Emmeloord, bringing together local traders and shoppers in a welcoming bazaar for all ages. Visitors can browse a wide range of regional goods, including gifts, toys, clocks, figurines, home decorations and other items. The market also offers a way for individuals to sell their own products: customers can rent a display cabinet, stock it with goods, and let Markthuis Friesland manage the sales.
Books are a prominent part of the offer, with more than 8,000 titles spanning novels, thrillers, textbooks, literature and spiritual reading. The selection is regularly refreshed, and unmarked books are priced at one or two euros depending on whether they fit through a letterbox. Selected offers are also listed on Marktplaats in the Netherlands and 2dehands in Belgium.
Alongside shopping and cabinet rental, the business lists services including a webshop, laundry service and customer services associated with DPD, GLS, FlixBus, Lebara and Vinted Go.
