Markus-Mühle is a German pet-food company based in the Westerwald, where it produces food for dogs and cats. Its roots go back more than 60 years to miller Josef Olberts; his son Markus later developed the company’s NaturNah dry dog food using a nutrient-conscious production process. Guided by the principle of feeding in harmony with nature, the brand offers complete foods developed with input from practitioners and formulated for pets’ needs.

Its range includes cold-pressed dry foods for dogs and cats, with options such as NaturNah, Veggie, Black Angus, Freiland, Rotwild, Hirsch, Weidelamm and Sensitiv. The company also offers Beutenah cat food and LUPOSAN supplements for dogs and cats. Products are made with natural ingredients and processed gently, and the company says it avoids fillers, genetic engineering, palm oil, animal testing and chemical preservatives.

Markus-Mühle also supports nature-conservation projects and uses electricity from hydropower in its production. Its Freiland range contributes to charitable foundations supporting children and animals.
