Marlene Polmear Fine Art

Marlene Polmear Fine Art is the online gallery and artistic practice of painter Marlene Polmear. Specializing in oil paintings, Marlene creates works inspired by landscapes and the natural world. Her approach is grounded in close observation, with attention to shape, value, balance, composition, color, and texture. Nature has been a lasting source of serenity and inspiration throughout her life, and her work reflects an ongoing effort to capture images that resonate.

Marlene continues to develop her practice by attending gallery openings and museum exhibitions, connecting with fellow artists, and exploring new techniques, painting surfaces, and materials. These experiences contribute fresh ideas and inform her evolving work. Through the website’s galleries, visitors can view her paintings and sign up for newsletter updates about new art. Marlene also welcomes questions and sales inquiries, and offers commissioned pieces. Commissions can be developed from a client’s photographs, preferred color scheme, or original ideas, providing a personal way to bring a meaningful image or concept into a painting.
