Mar Mindful

Mar Mindful is a child-focused mindfulness resource designed to help children of all ages explore creativity, recognize emotions and develop cognitive skills. Through playful stories, guided audio and videos, the brand introduces practices that can support calm, self-awareness and connection with others. Its featured story, “Mat and the Firefly,” follows Mat as Binho Brilhador, a wise and friendly firefly, teaches mindfulness in an engaging way; the story is by Mariah Theodoro, with animation by Helô Kinder.

The audio collection includes short, animal-themed stories and meditations featuring a seahorse, a unicorn and an elephant. Mar Mindful also offers video exercises, including square breathing, the Flower and Candle breath, and Rainbow breathing. These activities are presented as ways to calm the body and mind, relax, or feel energized. The site explains the value of introducing meditation, yoga and psychotherapy in early childhood as part of supporting conscious, considerate citizens. Visitors can explore audio and video resources, learn more about the approach, follow updates and subscribe to the brand’s newsletter.
