MARO Coffee Engineering develops espresso equipment that combines traditional craftsmanship with technology and precision. Its flagship product, the MARO Model 1, is a portafilter espresso machine designed to make quality coffee approachable while giving experienced users room to experiment. The machine heats up in around three minutes and is described as energy-efficient, quiet, easy to clean, and capable of maintaining a consistent temperature.
Digital features support preparation at different skill levels through Explorer, Expert, and Extreme modes. Tools include interactive drink guides, a grind-setting analyzer, adaptive pressure and flow control, personalized brewing recommendations, automatic shot stopping with a virtual scale, and recipe storage in a coffee diary. MARO also offers the MARO HOME platform, connecting users with a coffee community, and invites customers to try the Model 1 live for free.
