About Bodegas Marqués de Vizhoja SAU
Bodegas Marqués de Vizhoja is a Galician winery located on the banks of the Miño River. Since 1968, it has been known for its high-quality white wines and picturesque wine tourism landscape. Founded by Mariano Peláez, the winery is now run by his sons Jorge and Javier Peláez, who continue the family's winemaking tradition.
With vineyards covering nearly 40 hectares in the Rías Baixas D. O. Bodegas Marqués de Vizhoja welcomes wine lovers to experience their tradition of winemaking combined with innovation.
Through cultural activities suitable for all ages, visitors can explore the winery's facilities and vineyards, gaining insight into the excellence that is achieved through generations of hard work. Although temporarily closed due to the current COVID-19 situation, the winery offers a range of wines, including their renowned Marqués de Vizhoja wine without D. O., and their exclusive Señor da folla verde D.
