La Marseillaise des Femmes is a women-focused sporting event founded in 2010 in Marseille. Combining physical activity with a festive atmosphere and social commitment, it has become part of the women’s sports landscape in Marseille and across the South Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. Its main event includes a course that participants can run or walk, alongside group challenges, training sessions and activities for businesses and associations. The organisation also offers the Club des Marseillaises, where members can connect and train together.

La Marseillaise des Femmes supports causes including breast cancer awareness and women’s rights and freedoms. Its programme features solidarity initiatives, partnerships and special campaigns, including LMDF Rose, which mobilises participants against breast cancer. The 2026 programme includes the event’s 16th edition in May, the Cowellness Festival Marseille, and a connected 5.4-kilometre course that participants can complete wherever they choose between September 19 and October 2. Through sport, community activities and advocacy, the brand brings women together around movement and shared causes.
