Marten | Mölndal is a brand that stands for music and is dedicated to providing discerning listeners with an exceptional audio experience. With a passion for accurately reproducing sound, Marten creates speakers that can move you and make you feel the music in your gut. Founded in Sweden in 1998 by Leif Mårten Olofsson, Marten has a rich family history rooted in music.
Leif's grandfather, Josef Olofsson, built violins and played a significant role in inspiring Leif's love for audio. From their first speaker, the Mingus, Marten has grown its product range to include five series, a recording studio, and a record label. Today, Marten is still a family business run by Leif and his brothers, Jörgen and Lars Olofsson.
With a dedicated team of skilled and knowledgeable individuals, Marten takes pride in every aspect of their production, from constructing cabinets to assembling speakers. They believe in keeping it real by designing speakers that accurately reproduce the truth and beauty of natural sound. Their passion for music also led to the creation of their own recording studio, which played a critical role in the development of their flagship speaker, the Coltrane Supreme 2.
