Martinez Reel Repair

Martinez Reel Repair provides hands-on fishing reel cleaning, repair, upgrades, and sales of refurbished reels. The business aims to restore reels to reliable working condition, helping customers get back to fishing. Its owner combines mechanical expertise with a lifelong interest in fishing, which began at age 11, and brings a detail-oriented approach to each job. After recently retiring from work providing services to the Department of Defense, the owner focuses on communicating clearly about what can and cannot be done and completing work promptly.

All reel work is performed by hand, without electrical tools. Martinez Reel Repair serves recreational, commercial, and charter fleet fishermen, with local service extending from Panama City, Florida, to Mobile, Alabama. Reels are also accepted by mail from customers in other states. The business describes its approach as honest, trustworthy, and experienced, and its website features customer reviews alongside information about services and payment options. Its goal is to provide careful, practical service for anglers who depend on their reels.
