Martin Guilbaud

Martin Guilbaud is a golf instructor based at Golf du Haut-Poitou, near Poitiers in France. A member of PGA France, he holds a first-degree state certificate and a state diploma in sports performance coaching. He also serves as a departmental sports adviser for Vienne, is part of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine regional technical team, and co-coaches the golf club’s junior school, which has around 80 children.

Martin offers lessons for newcomers and experienced players, including introductory sessions, discovery packages, training towards the Carte Verte, and coaching to improve an established game. Players can also book lessons on the course, take part in junior programmes, or join group classes for adults. The adult group course runs from October to April and includes 15 hours of instruction.

Lessons take place at Golf du Haut-Poitou, which offers nine- and 18-hole courses, a practice area, and a training green. Martin also uses TrackMan radar technology to measure club impact and ball flight, supporting golfers at different skill levels as they work on their progress.
