Skischule Martini is an independent outdoor instruction and guiding business based in Obergurgl, Austria, founded in 2011 by Martin “Martini” Lancaric. With experience teaching in the Ötztal since the late 1990s and as a children’s ski coach in Australia, Martin offers professional instruction shaped by international experience and a practical, personal teaching approach. He holds Austria’s highest qualifications as a state-certified ski instructor and ski guide. Petra, a certified Tyrolean ski instructor with 25 years of experience, also supports the winter programme.

The business provides ski lessons for learners from beginners to advanced skiers, as well as golf instruction. Martin is a professional PGA golf instructor and completed a three-year golf coaching programme in Prague. In summer, he works as a mountain hiking guide and mountain bike guide, leading tours in the Ötztal and nearby South Tyrol and the Dolomites. His teaching draws on biomechanics, learning methods and direct communication. Martin speaks German, English, Slovak and Italian, and welcomes guests seeking guided alpine experiences in both summer and winter.
