Marvilee

Marvilee is a Nebraska 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2023 in memory of Marvin Lee Sullivan, who died after battling addiction. Based in Lincoln, the organization works to support young people and families affected by substance use disorders and mental health challenges, with a particular focus on youth who need life skills or are struggling with addiction. Its mission is to connect families with meaningful resources, provide life-skills education, and create opportunities for empowerment.

Marvilee offers mentorship, resource connections, community outreach, and a safe, supportive space where youth and parents can seek guidance and emotional support. It also works alongside local organizations to raise awareness, mobilize resources, and strengthen community support. The nonprofit encourages community members to contribute through donations, volunteering, mentoring, and sharing its mission.

Founded by Executive Director Regina Sullivan, Marvilee draws on her personal experience of loss to promote healing, recovery, and reduced stigma. Its vision is a world where families do not lose loved ones to substance abuse
