Marwell Medic

Marwell is a Czech brand operated by Marwell Medic s.r.o., focused on abduction underwear designed to support the healthy development of hip joints in newborns and infants. Its underwear incorporates an orthopedic insert intended to keep a baby’s hips in the recommended position while still allowing movement. The product is presented as an alternative to traditional wide diapering with several cotton nappies and is available over the counter from pharmacies and medical-supply stores. According to the company, it can also be prescribed by a doctor, with costs covered by health insurance providers.

Marwell’s website explains the product’s benefits and use, answers common questions, and provides downloadable information and expert opinions. It cites experienced orthopedists who recommend abduction positioning during early infancy, including in cases with reassuring clinical and ultrasound findings. The brand also shares a mother’s positive experience with the underwear. Marwell Medic states that the product has been clinically verified, and offers information for parents and healthcare professionals seeking guidance on infant hip positioning.
