Mary C Forbes Foundation

The Mary C. Forbes Foundation is a private foundation established in 1998 to help students pursue a Catholic education in the Diocese of St. Petersburg, Florida. It provides scholarship assistance to applicants who may qualify, supporting children and families seeking access to Catholic schools. The foundation reports that thousands of children have received assistance with attending Catholic schools in the diocese. Its work is guided by the aim of giving every child a fair chance to succeed at school and reach their academic potential.

The foundation offers information and downloadable forms for students, applicants, and school administrators. These resources include a student application, applicant notice, applicant checklist, administrator notice, and financial assistance report. The foundation also accepts support for its scholarship assistance efforts, with giving directed to schools on behalf of students who live within the Diocese of St. Petersburg and are pursuing an education based on the teachings of the Roman Catholic faith. The organization states that it is independent and is not associated with the Diocese of St.
