Whole Horse Hoof Care Patty Lynch Farrier Services

Maryland Farrier Patty Lynch is the Mount Airy-based hoof care practice of Patty Lynch, an Accredited Professional Farrier and member of the American Association of Professional Farriers and the Northeast Association of Equine Practitioners. Since beginning her professional career in 2005, Lynch has provided hoof care for horses of different breeds and disciplines, with particular experience in dressage, therapeutic shoeing, and founder cases. Her guiding approach is “barefoot when possible, shoes when necessary,” with recommendations tailored to each horse’s comfort, anatomy, biomechanics, living conditions, and intended work.

Services include barefoot trims, routine and specialty shoeing, laminitis care, and consultations. Depending on the horse’s needs, shoeing options may include steel, aluminum, composite, or polyurethane products, as well as pads, glue-on shoes, and corrective work. Lynch also communicates with attending veterinarians and can collaborate with a horse’s current farrier to address hoof care concerns. The practice emphasizes individualized care and teamwork among owners, farriers, and veterinarians. Patty Lynch is currently accepting new clients with two or more horses.
