Maryland Women's Business Center (MWBC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs. As a part of REDI (Rockville Economic Development, Inc. ), MWBC offers training and counseling services to help women build successful businesses.

With support from various partners, MWBC has expanded its reach to three locations, enabling them to assist more than 1,500 women (and men) annually. MWBC creates a supportive environment that fosters self-efficacy and confidence in their clients, empowering them to navigate entrepreneurship with skills, connections, and the necessary confidence. They offer a range of programs and resources, including counseling services, specialized training, and initiatives like the StartRight! Business Plan Competition and the child care business program.

Established in 2010 as the Rockville Women's Business Center, MWBC became an SBA certified Women's Business Center in 2013. Through their dedication and commitment, MWBC has become a trusted resource for aspiring and established women entrepreneurs in Maryland, helping them achieve their business goals and thrive in the competitive world of entrepreneurship
