Maryville City Schools Foundation

The Maryville City Schools Foundation is a community-supported nonprofit that enriches educational programs for students in Maryville City Schools in Maryville, Tennessee. For more than 30 years, it has partnered with local supporters to extend what public funding can provide and create lasting improvements across nine schools. Its work focuses on helping teachers bring innovative ideas into classrooms and ensuring students have opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed.

The Foundation offers teacher grants for creative classroom projects, a Children’s Fund that provides immediate support when students face unexpected challenges, and scholarships to help students pursue higher education. It also supports learning through resources, technology, and programs that encourage curiosity and achievement. Community events, including the Starlight Gala, Miles 4 Maryville, and Giving Wars, bring people together to raise funds and support students.

The Foundation reports raising more than $5 million for Maryville City Schools students, impacting over 25,000 students, and awarding more than $800,000 in scholarships. Donations and community partnerships help strengthen classrooms and expand educational opportunities for every student.
