Mashinky is an independently developed transport tycoon strategy game created by Jan Zeleny, an indie game developer with experience working on Mafia II, Mafia III, and DayZ. Available for PC, the game challenges players to build and manage a transport company on a procedurally generated world. Players lay railway tracks across difficult terrain, create routes, develop stations and industries, and transport passengers and cargo while competing with the economy to earn a profit.
Mashinky combines realistic 3D landscapes with an isometric construction mode and board-game-inspired rules. Its evolving historical setting lets players progress from steam trains and basic materials to modern railways and advanced goods, while inventing or customizing vehicles and buildings to suit changing opportunities. Each generated map offers a different sandbox and strategic challenge.
The game is inspired by transport-management classics, particularly Chris Sawyer’s Transport Tycoon, and emphasizes puzzle-like network planning and expansive gameplay. The developer provides videos, screenshots, and game details, and offers the game as a Steam key through the website.
