About Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe
Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Departments offer a wide range of essential services to their community. From Child Family Services to Housing, from Health and Human Services to Homeland Security, the tribe is dedicated to meeting the needs of its members. The Tribal Court plays a crucial role in upholding tribal laws and ensuring justice for all.
With a focus on maintaining harmony with the land and community, the court operates three types of courts - Supreme Court, District Court, and Peacemaker Court. Upholding the Tribal Constitution, the court provides fair and impartial hearings for civil, criminal, and peacemaking cases. In addition to its judicial responsibilities, the Tribal Court is actively working on enhancing its infrastructure and community outreach efforts.
