Mashua

MASHUA is a Czech manufacturer of composite sports equipment for whitewater, producing its products in its workshop in Brandýs nad Labem. The company makes custom slalom kayaks and canoes, carbon paddles and paddle blades, and carbon fittings for boats. Its boats are built to order in sizes suited to individual paddlers, with customers able to choose their own design. Models are available for children, junior paddlers, and adults, and commonly combine carbon and Kevlar to balance strength and low weight. MASHUA also aims to make quality equipment accessible to young beginners, as well as experienced competitors.

Its paddle range includes complete custom-made K1 and C1 paddles and replacement or upgrade blades. Carbon accessories include platforms with adjustable carbon or foam seats, footrests, and knee supports, including fittings designed for Spade boats. The company develops and tests shapes and materials independently and with paddlers. MASHUA also offers repairs for damaged boats, paddles, and seats, either providing advice for self-repair or arranging work in its workshop.
