Masincedane (Helpmekaar) Club is a nonprofit organization and work and care centre serving adults aged 19 to 55 with severe intellectual and/or physical disabilities. Registered as an NPO and with the South African Revenue Service as a Section 18A organization, Masincedane focuses on improving its members’ quality of life and supporting their participation in the community. The centre offers a cared-for environment where members can feel at home and take part in constructive, meaningful activities.
It also aims to help them develop a range of skills that can support active community involvement. Beyond care and activities, the organization works to raise public awareness of the presence and needs of people with disabilities and advocates for the protection of their rights within the community. Masincedane is funded through modest monthly contributions from members, support from local churches, and donations from individuals and the public sector.
Individuals, businesses, and other institutions are invited to get involved in its community service mission through support and participation. Contact Christine Kruger for enquiries
