Massage Ocala

Relevant Therapeutic Massage provides massage services for horses and people in Ocala, Florida. Based at Golden Hills Plaza on US-27, the practice offers human massage modalities including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, Swedish massage, and cupping. Its equine service applies many of the same approaches, including deep tissue, trigger point, Swedish, and cross-friction techniques.

Each equine session begins with an evaluation, which guides the treatment plan for the following 75 to 90 minutes. The practice notes that areas of tension can differ according to the individual horse and its discipline. Cutting and reining horses may experience tension in the pectoral and triceps muscles, while jumpers may show tightness in the flanks and hamstrings. Leg muscles above the knee and hock can also carry tension across breeds and disciplines. Equine massage is presented as a potential part of preventative care or as support for existing muscular imbalances and restrictions.
