Massey Theatre

Massey Theatre is a performing arts and community organization based in New Westminster, British Columbia. A catalyst for an expressive community since 1949, it presents live entertainment and provides spaces for artistic and community activities. The Massey Theatre Society, a not-for-profit established in 1983, operates the arts complex, which includes the 1,260-seat Massey Theatre, Eighth & Eight Creative Spaces, a 69-seat black box, and the 360-seat Anvil Theatre.

The organization’s program features a varied calendar of performances, including concerts, dance, ballet, theatre, seasonal productions, and tribute shows. Examples include International Guitar Night, Ballet Jörgen’s Swan Lake, Chilliwack, and Jack and the Beanstalk. Audiences can find event information and purchase official tickets through TicketsNW, operated by the Society and powered by Ticketpro.

Massey Theatre also offers rental booking inquiries for its facilities and runs community programs. Its website shares venue updates, renovation news, visitor information, and opportunities to support its work. A multi-year renovation project is modernizing the complex and improving its services and efficiency.
