Mass Moments is a brand that offers a daily almanac of Massachusetts history. Launched in 2005, the website provides 366 fascinating stories to explore. In addition to browsing the website, you can subscribe to receive a daily email featuring a moment from Massachusetts history, or become a fan of their Mass Moments Facebook page to enjoy daily moments on your own feed.
Mass Moments is a project of Mass Humanities, an organization that supports programs using history, literature, philosophy, and other humanities disciplines to enhance civic life in Massachusetts. They receive funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Massachusetts Cultural Council, as well as private sources. The website was redesigned and redeveloped in 2017 by Rhyme Digital, LLC.
