The Massachusetts TPS Committee is a community-led organization working to protect Temporary Protected Status (TPS) recipients and pursue permanent residency in the United States. It is part of the National TPS Alliance, a network formed and led by TPS beneficiaries from across the country. The committee was created by Salvadoran TPS recipients and includes supporters from Nepal, Haiti, other countries with TPS holders, and U.S. citizens. TPS recipients’ U.S.-born children are also active supporters.

The committee shares information about TPS, court cases, and developments affecting beneficiaries and their families. It organizes action alerts and campaigns, encourages members to contact elected officials, and brings community voices to decision-makers through advocacy and testimony. Its initiatives include calls for unions, faith-based organizations, and community groups to stand with TPS families facing changes to their legal status and ability to work. Membership is open to TPS beneficiaries, their families, and allies. The organization also provides opportunities to connect, participate in community actions, and learn about TPS and related efforts to secure lasting protections.
