Matagalls-Montserrat is a long-distance hiking challenge organised by Club Excursionista de Gràcia. Held since 1972 in memory of Mossèn Jaume Oliveras i Brossa, the event invites participants to travel on foot from Matagalls in the Montseny to Montserrat. Its stated objective is to cover 84.3 kilometres in under 24 hours. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 19–20 September, with an important route modification announced because of force majeure.
