Matamba Film Labs for Women, a New-Media Institution based in Zimbabwe, is dedicated to empowering the next generation of female storytellers and filmmakers. In a male-dominated industry, we provide a safe and supportive environment for women to learn new media storytelling skills and create compelling films with original Zimbabwean and African perspectives.

Through day-to-day productions and collaborations with regional and global filmmakers, we aim to transfer knowledge, skills, and confidence to local women filmmakers. Our vision is to build a creative economy by empowering creative women in technology and disrupting content development with new technology.
