Matan White, MD, is a Dallas-based reproductive psychiatry practice focused on women’s mental health, particularly during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Dr. White is board-certified in general psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and trained at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where she served as chief resident and completed the women’s mental health track. Before opening her private practice, she established a women’s mental health service at UT Southwestern’s faculty clinic, specializing in peripartum mood and anxiety disorders and other hormonally mediated concerns, and training psychiatric residents in these areas.

The practice offers individualized, collaborative care, combining psychodynamic psychotherapy and medication management to develop treatment plans suited to each patient. Dr. White has been named a TEXAS MONTHLY Super Doctors Rising Star for five consecutive years and a D Magazine Best Psychiatrist in Dallas for four years.
