Empower Martial Arts is a Central New Jersey martial arts school focused on helping children, teens, and adults build practical skills and confidence. Its Aberdeen/Matawan dojo, located at Plaza 34 on Route 34, serves families in Matawan, Aberdeen, Old Bridge, Holmdel, and nearby communities. The organization also lists schools in East Brunswick/Milltown and Edison.

Programs are designed for different ages and experience levels. Little Dragons offers playful martial arts classes for children ages 4–6, emphasizing listening, coordination, and confidence. Kids Karate, for ages 7–12, follows a belt path that encourages focus, respect, and perseverance. Krav Maga classes for teens and adults ages 13 and up teach practical self-defense and conditioning step by step, welcoming beginners with no prior martial arts experience.

Empower’s coaching emphasizes clear expectations and progress students can apply beyond the dojo, including respect, attentive listening, and persistence. The Matawan school also hosts belt graduations, tournaments, and other family events. Prospective students can request a two-week free trial, with no commitment to enroll during the trial.
