MatchWork

MatchWork is a community-based platform designed to connect people who need services with independent workers nearby. Its goal is to make finding practical, local help faster and simpler, while giving workers a way to showcase their skills and reach potential customers. Using geolocation, the app helps users discover available service providers within an approximate area rather than displaying exact addresses.

Customers can search for a service, find nearby people who are available, and contact them directly. Workers can create a profile, describe the services they offer, and indicate where they are available. MatchWork acts as a point of contact: users arrange quotes, agreements, and payments directly with one another, outside the app. Registration and use are free, and the platform does not charge commissions. Users can rate and review their experiences, and report profiles or posts for the team to assess. For privacy, profiles are visible only while users are in Active mode; switching to Out of Service or closing the app hides them.
