About Us: Materials In Works (MIW) is a circular economy venture based in Malaysia, focused on pioneering the upcycling of label liner waste—an often overlooked industrial byproduct—into sustainable packaging materials. We recover cellulose fiber from used glassine liners to create Recovered Cellulose Pulp (RCP), a high-yield, bleach-free pulp suitable for molded trays, tissue paper, and compostable packaging. About Materials In Works
Materials In Works (MIW) is a brand founded by a group of packaging material experts in South East Asia and Oceania. With a proven track record, MIW and its associate partners have been executing upcycling projects in the region since 2018, in line with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. The brand's mission is centered around INDUSTRIAL SYMBIOSIS, a program that encourages collaboration among industry enterprises to achieve higher resource efficiency and waste minimization.
MIW aims to supply reliable GREEN raw materials to specific industries by recovering valuable resources from industrial solid wastes, ultimately working towards a Zero Waste to landfill goal. MIW distinguishes itself from conventional recyclers by believing that most waste materials are technically recyclable. Their innovative process involves analyzing materials, breaking them down into building blocks, and upcycling them for new applications.
