About Mates In Mind
Mates in Mind is a charity that aims to improve mental health and wellbeing in workplaces across the UK. Established in 2016 by the Health in Construction Leadership Group (HCLG) with the support of the British Safety Council, Mates in Mind provides employers with clear information and guidance on how to address mental health issues within their organizations. They believe that mental health is an integral part of overall health and provide the skills and resources to raise awareness and address the stigma surrounding mental ill-health.
Through their tailored program, they have already helped hundreds of organizations in the construction industry transform the mental health culture of their workplaces. They have now expanded their focus to include workers in industries beyond construction, aiming to drive positive change across all UK workplaces. Mates in Mind is committed to reaching 75% of the construction industry by 2025 and continues to enhance their approach and resources to make their program accessible to all
