Mathers Environmental Science Services, LLC. provides environmental horticulture, weed science, and agricultural research services led by Dr. Hannah Mathers. With 26 years of experience in the horticulture and agriculture industries in the United States and Canada, Dr. Mathers has conducted thousands of herbicide efficacy and phytotoxicity trials, invented five bio-herbicides with provisional patents, and assisted with the registration of seven herbicides for the U.S. nursery industry.

The company offers consulting, contract research, testing, site inspections, statistical analysis, written reports, and training. Dr. Mathers also serves as an expert witness in matters involving horticulture, pesticides, agricultural chemicals, and environmental science. Relevant casework includes weeds, herbicide drift, chemical misapplication, herbicide persistence, phytotoxicity, and cold injury to horticultural plants. Research aims to reduce waste and plant injury while improving treatment efficacy.

Additional services include data analysis, writing trade articles and manuscripts, and educational presentations. Mathers Environmental Science Services also sells seeds from dicot and monocot weed species.
