Math Kangaroo USA

Math Kangaroo USA is an educational organization that brings the international mathematics competition to students in kindergarten through Grade 12. For 30 years, it has encouraged young people to enjoy mathematics while developing problem-solving, logical reasoning, and confidence. Students can participate in individual competitions, including the annual March event, or form teams of two to four for team competitions. The program recognizes achievement through awards, rankings, and special recognition.

Beyond competitions, Math Kangaroo USA offers online classes for students in Grades 1–8, webinars for Grades 1–6, private coaching, and learning materials for a range of grade levels. Resources include practice booklets, free sample questions, video solutions, logic puzzles, answer keys, curricula, and lesson plans. The organization also provides guidance for teachers, schools, competition centers, students, and families, with options for in-person and online participation. Its activities include camps, educational events, and a poster contest. Through donations and volunteer support, Math Kangaroo USA also works to expand access, including opportunities for students from Title I schools.
