Math Plus

Math Plus Academy provides math enrichment and STEM learning for children in Powell, Ohio, and online. Its small-group classes serve students from kindergarten through age 15, with courses ranging from foundational math to pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and Algebra II. Families can choose in-person instruction at the academy’s Sawmill Road center or online classes, and students may join throughout the term. The program emphasizes understanding, confidence, and lifelong problem-solving rather than worksheets, rote memorization, or test preparation.

With a maximum of eight students per class, certified teachers, and an assistant teacher, Math Plus Academy aims to offer personal attention and an encouraging learning environment. Classes include puzzles and challenging tasks, with a weekly 30-minute one-on-one session and optional take-home problems. Beyond math enrichment and tutoring, the academy offers math competition teams, LEGO robotics, 3D printing and modeling, chess classes, and summer camps focused on STEM, robotics, and design. The academy serves families in Powell, Dublin, Westerville, and Lewis Center, offers a free trial class, and states that enrollment requires no contract.
