Matières d’Art is an art gallery and cabinet of curiosities devoted to human creativity and the diversity of the natural world. Its online catalogue brings together works and unusual pieces across eight areas: world crafts, jewellery, drawing, minerals, objets d’art, painting, photography and sculpture. Visitors can browse the collection, discover featured artists and objects, and purchase works or rare finds presented on the site.
The selection ranges from distinctive jewellery and sculptural forms to paintings, drawings and photographs, as well as minerals gathered from around the world, valued for their remarkable colours and shapes. Matières d’Art also invites visitors to experience the gallery in person during its exhibitions, offering an opportunity to explore the works at close range. The site provides information about the gallery, its programme, sales and shipping, alongside press and contact details.
Combining an online shopping catalogue with an exhibition space, Matières d’Art presents art, craftsmanship and natural specimens for people who enjoy discovering singular creations and collecting distinctive pieces
