Matill is a four-star superior boutique and wellness hotel in Latsch, in South Tyrol’s Vinschgau region. Set in a historic building with around 900 years of history, it combines original castle character with contemporary rooms, welcoming service and a close connection to nature and agriculture. Its rooms and suites include panoramic options, family accommodation and spa suites with private saunas or infrared cabins.

Food is a central part of the Matill experience. The kitchen draws on organic fruit, vegetables, herbs and wine grown on the hotel’s own land, with produce harvested by host Hansjörg. Menus offer Mediterranean, vegetarian and vegan dishes, as well as gluten-free choices. Guests can also explore a vaulted wine cellar featuring wines from South Tyrol and Italy.

The wellness facilities include nine saunas, indoor and heated outdoor pools, relaxation areas and treatments using natural cosmetics. Yoga, mindfulness practices and restorative rituals complement opportunities for outdoor activities in the surrounding landscape. Matill also offers seasonal stays, retreats, wine experiences and romantic dining arrangements.
