MatkaGadka, led by animal educator and caregiver Sylwia Cegiełka, offers zoological and nature workshops for preschool and school-age children. Based in Warsaw, the service travels to schools, preschools, cultural centers, play spaces and companies, primarily across the Mazowieckie region. Sessions introduce children to domestic and exotic animals through lively explanations, stories, photographs, short videos, sensory activities and, when appropriate, supervised opportunities to gently touch or hold familiar animals.

The program includes eight themed lessons covering reptiles, rodents and rabbits, insects, spiders, hedgehogs, and the wider animal world. Children learn about animal behavior, lifespans, habitats, responsible care and the realities of keeping pets, with activities adapted to the selected topic. Workshops last 45 minutes for children aged five and older, or 25 minutes for younger participants. Each session includes a small themed gift.

Animal welfare and participant safety are central to the experience. The animals are Sylwia’s own, accustomed to human contact and regularly checked by a veterinarian. Workshops take place indoors, with groups limited to 25 children.
