Mat Quest is an iPhone training app designed for Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitors who want to manage their preparation in one place. Combining practical tracking tools with an arcade-inspired style, it helps turn the routine between classes and competition day into a more engaging experience. Users can log gi and no-gi sessions with a tap, add rounds and notes, and track belts, stripes, training streaks, XP ranks and achievements.
The app also supports tournament preparation with countdowns, match-by-match results and game plans covering standup, top and bottom positions, submissions and escapes. For weight management, users can record daily weigh-ins, review a rolling seven-day average and see progress toward their division limit. Mat Quest features six original pixel-art fighters, each with five belt forms that change as users progress, alongside 30 medals and weekly missions.
