About IC Archival Research
ICARUS is an international consortium that supports archives and related institutions in facing the challenges of the digital age. With over 180 participating entities from 30+ European countries, Canada, and the USA, ICARUS aims to create a synergy of efforts to build and maintain digital infrastructures, establish common standards and strategies, and foster international collaboration. The non-profit organization focuses on generating and advancing digital content while exchanging expertise and knowledge.
Led by a board of directors and executive team, ICARUS undertakes daily operations to achieve its goals. The association's activities include managing projects, coordinating events, and expanding partnerships.
