About Mattecentrum
Mattecentrum is a Swedish non-profit organization dedicated to stimulating young people's interest and knowledge in mathematics. Founded in 2008, our mission is to provide equal opportunities for learning, improve students' math skills, and foster their interest in the subject. We offer various services, both online and offline, all free of charge.
Our math labs, held in over 30 cities across Sweden, provide tutoring sessions where students can receive help with their homework from dedicated volunteers. We also have an online tutoring tool called Matteboken, which offers theory texts, video lessons, and interactive exercises for math courses from year 3 in compulsory school to upper secondary school. Additionally, our other online resources, such as Pluggakuten, Formelsamlingen, and Mathplanet, provide forums, formulas, and courses to further enhance math learning.
