Dr Matthias Stiehler

Dr. Matthias Stiehler is a German theologian, educational scientist, psychological counselor and author whose work explores partnership, men’s studies—particularly men’s health—and religiosity. His website brings together information, essays, lectures and publications on these subjects, alongside details of his counseling and men’s work. Since 1999, he has offered couples counseling with his wife and also leads men’s groups. He helped initiate and co-edit Germany’s first men’s health report and has contributed to further reports and books on men’s lives, health and social issues.

Stiehler’s publications address relationships, family life, faith and contemporary society. His titles include Partnerschaft ist einfach, Partnerschaft ist zweifach, Partnerschaft geht anders, Ist Gott noch zu retten?, Väterlos and Der Männerversteher.
