Maui Humane Society is a dedicated organization committed to safeguarding and enhancing the lives of animals across Maui. Their mission encompasses not only the rescue and adoption of pets but also a range of community-focused services aimed at promoting animal welfare. They offer an extensive selection of adoptable pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals, with reduced or waived adoption fees to encourage pet adoption. The Society provides vital services such as spay/neuter programs, pet care, and a mobile veterinary clinic.

Additionally, the organization supports the community through lost and found services for pets, education on animal care, and resources for pet surrender. Initiatives like the “Wings of Aloha” foster program and volunteer opportunities emphasize the importance of community involvement in animal rescue efforts. Events like the “Rescue Me” Calendar launch highlight the Society's collaboration with local heroes. By fostering respect and compassion towards animals, Maui Humane Society inspires locals and visitors alike to engage in pet care and adoption initiatives.
